Well if you really want to know, Beez is out of town visiting family all this week, while I’ve been hard at work scoring my cousin’s indie film. So, Beasley/Price might seem decidedly ignored.

But that is an illusion.

We’ve got exciting plans for the future, and we’re already working to make it happen.

First up, write new music. It’s something we’ve both been wanting to do, and our recent work on the Skrillex/Damian Marley track reignited the flame. And I don’t know if you noticed by listening to our remix, but our production skills have stepped up a notch since working on the album. I can confidently say that our new material will be better than anything we’ve ever done. You’ll like what you hear.

Next up, is videos. Beez and I have long talked about ideas for music videos. Only to be stopped by our lack of decent video equipment. But that’s soon about to change and we plan to produce videos of every stripe: music videos, live shows, cover songs, and more. You’ll see.

And finally, you may have noticed our gig calender is a bit light. But don’t worry, we’re already working to fill our calender and will announce new live dates soon.

So stay tuned! Exciting things are just around the corner.

So this past week we’ve been hard at work on our first remix. We had a lot of fun working on this thing, and we’re real proud of the results. It was all part of Beatport’s remix contest of the Skrillex/Damian Marley track “Make It Bun Dem.” We took  it from its reggae dubstep style and turned it into burning drum and bass track. We hope you enjoy it.

I find it’s not enough to simply create new music. That’s too easy. I want to make something that’s new and bold. But will I succeed? Do I have what it takes to be innovator? To make something that no one else has? Is that possible?

I don’t know the answer, but I will certainly try. Because above all, I want to create music that inspires, that people want to talk about, that people love.

I hope, if nothing else, I can do that. And you know what? I think I can.
